DP-PMI Network
The Doctoral Programme in the Physics and Mathematics of Information: Foundations of Future Information Technologies (DP-PMI) will promote the mobility of its students, who will be expected to spend a period of their doctoral studies visiting an international research group, member of the DP-PMI Network.
This international experience and exposure is a key feature of the DP-PMI scientific training. Depending on the specific nature of their research project, this can be a short visit (between one week and one month) or a long visit (defined as longer than one month). Specific funding is available for this mobility.
The members of the DP-PMI Network are:
- Prof. Alán Aspuru-Guzik, Harvard University
- Prof. Artur Ekert, Centre for Quantum Technologies - Singapore
- Prof. Enrique Solano, University of the Basque Country
- Prof. Fabio Sciarrino, University of Rome "La Sapienza"
- Prof. Francesco Piazza, University of Orléans
- Prof. Ignacio Cirac, Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics
- Prof. Luca Gammaitoni, University of Perugia
- Prof. Luiz Davidovich, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro
- Prof. Martin Plenio, University of Ulm
- Prof. Mauro Paternostro, Queen's University Belfast
- Prof. Mike Mosca, Institute for Quantum Computing - Waterloo
- Prof. Seth Lloyd, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- Prof. Sougato Bose, University College London
- Prof. Vlatko Vedral, University of Oxford
